Budgie Care was created with a simple idea: support can feel less like a service and more like having someone genuinely there for you.
Many people and families face challenges beyond everyday tasks. Language barriers, cultural differences, social isolation and unfamiliar service systems can make it harder to feel understood or included. These experiences inspired the creation of Budgie Care.
We wanted to build a service that sees the whole person: their choices, relationships, culture, interests and goals. Budgie Care provides practical support while creating opportunities for people to connect, participate and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
That same belief inspired Budgie Connect, our community initiative bringing people together through activities, workshops, cultural events and shared experiences.

Message from the Founder
Budgie Care was created from a deeply personal understanding of how important it is to feel seen, understood and connected.
Having experienced the challenges of entering a new community and navigating unfamiliar systems, I understand that support can never be one-size-fits-all. Language, culture, trust and human connection shape how safe and respected a person feels.
My vision for Budgie Care is to build a service where people are not treated as a list of tasks or support hours. I want every person and family we work with to feel listened to, valued and included. Through culturally responsive support and initiatives such as Budgie Connect, we hope to create meaningful opportunities for friendship, confidence and participation.
Budgie Care is more than a business to me. It is a commitment to helping build communities where everyone has a place.
